A woman from Sikkim endured over a decade of pain after undergoing appendectomy surgery, only to discover last month that surgical scissors were left in her abdomen. The 45-year-old had the procedure at Sir Thutob Namgyal Memorial (STNM) Hospital in 2012. Despite consulting various doctors for her recurring pain, the foreign object was only revealed during an X-ray.
