The MMRDA informed the Bombay High Court that it will delay opening bids for the ₹16,577 crore Ghodbundar Road-Bhayandar bridge and tunnel by 60 days from October 8. L&T, which had filed petitions alleging MMRDA’s haste before the upcoming Assembly elections, agreed to withdraw them. They emphasized the need for geotechnical investigations before proceeding with the bidding process.
