Supreme Court Ex-Judge Appointed As Head Of UN Internal Justice Council

Former Supreme Court judge Madan B Lokur has been appointed as chairperson of the United Nations Internal Justice Council, ending on November 12, 2028. UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres announced the appointment in a communication to Justice Lokur, stating that Lokur will head the council, which includes other distinguished jurists.
