IMD Warns Of Cyclonic Development In Bay Of Bengal

India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported the development of an upper air cyclonic circulation over the Equatorial Indian Ocean, near the Sumatra coast and South Andaman Sea. Detected on Thursday morning, this system is expected to intensify into a low-pressure area over the southeast Bay of Bengal by November 23, with the potential to escalate into a depression or cyclone.
