Praveen Khandelwal has again urged renaming Delhi as Indraprastha, citing its Mahabharat-era links to the Pandavas’ capital on the Yamuna. In a letter to Amit Shah, he said “Delhi” reflects only medieval history. He cited Archaeological Survey of India excavations at Purana Qila as evidence supporting restoration of the capital’s ancient civilizational identity.
