A diarrhea and vomiting outbreak at the AIIMS Mangalagiri hostel in Andhra Pradesh has sickened 25 students and staff over the past three days. All are being treated in a special ward. Officials suspect contaminated water and have collected around 40 samples from storage and pipelines, while hygiene measures and safe drinking water arrangements are underway.
