US Shutdown Chaos: 2,000+ Flights Cancelled Nationwide

As the US govt shutdown reached day 40, over 2,000 flights were cancelled and 8,000 delayed nationwide, FlightAware reported. The FAA’s 10% capacity cut at 40 major airports began Friday amid staff shortages and rising controller absences. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy warned travel disruptions will worsen ahead of Thanksgiving if the shutdown continues.
