Security Personnel Killed In Naxal Encounter In Chhattisgarh

A District Reserve Guard (DRG) head constable, Birendra Kumar Sori, was killed during an encounter with Naxalites in Chhattisgarh’s Narayanpur district on Wednesday. The clash began around 1 PM in the Sonpur-Kohkameta forest during a joint anti-Naxal operation by DRG and Border Security Force personnel. The gunfight continued intermittently until late evening.
