Parliamentary Panel To Examine Lateral Entry In Civil Services

The issue of lateral entry to fill key government posts, which sparked political controversy over the lack of reservation, will be examined by a parliamentary panel. As per the Lok Sabha secretariat, the Department-related Parliamentary Standing Committee on Personnel, Public Grievances, Law and Justice has selected lateral entry in civil services for examination in 2024-25.
