Tirupati’s Sri Venkateswara Zoological Park received ₹21 lakh under its animal adoption program from a Punjab-based philanthropic organization. Curator C. Selvam said the funds will aid animal maintenance, nutrition, and healthcare, strengthening conservation efforts, and encouraged wider participation in the zoo’s adoption scheme for wildlife welfare.
