Siddaramaiah Calls For Judicial Intervention In Waqf Land Matters

Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah proposed a committee led by a retired judge to address Waqf land issues, urging the matter not be politicised. Responding to BJP queries, he clarified the central government’s Waqf Act and criticized BJP’s failure to resolve the issue. He assured no farmer would be evicted and promised withdrawal of eviction notices while highlighting Waqf land encroachment concerns.
