Tourists Stranded As Rains, Landslides Batter Darjeeling Hills

Heavy rains triggered multiple landslides in Darjeeling post-Durga Puja, killing at least 20, including children, and injuring many. Homes were destroyed, highways NH 55 and NH 10 blocked, and tourists stranded. The town, once bustling with holidaymakers, turned into a zone of despair.
