West Bengal’s Kolkata has witnessed 1,017 dengue cases till October 26 during this season. Compared to the previous year, 226 cases have increased this year. Officials advised the people to stay alert and get awareness of the disease. Authorities also told people to look at the rooftop and surrounding areas because the mosquito breeds in the stored water.
