India will host the fifth Coast Guard Global Summit in Chennai in 2027, marking the Indian Coast Guard’s 50th anniversary. The event will include fleet reviews, global seminars, and bilateral talks, aiming to boost international maritime cooperation, interoperability, and security. The decision was announced at the 2025 Rome summit attended by 115 nations.
