Stock Market Close: Sensex Gains 314 Pts, Nifty At 24,850

The Sensex jumped 314 points to 81,101.32, while Nifty climbed 95 points to close at 24,868 on Tuesday. Infosys, Wipro, and Dr Reddy’s were top gainers, driven by IT sector strength after Infosys’ share buyback news. Nifty IT rose 2.8%. FMCG and pharma gained 0.5%, while oil & gas and realty dipped 0.3%.
