Delhi Traffic Police has launched a pilot project using solar-assisted cooling helmets and wearable devices for on-duty personnel as temperature crossing 45°C in Delhi-NCR. The initiative includes fans, hydration support with ORS, and shaded shelters at busy intersections. It aims to reduce heatstroke and dehydration risks during extreme heatwave conditions.
