Manipur Displaced Intensify Protest For Safe Return

Hundreds of internally displaced people in Manipur turned a sit-in protest in Imphal into a massive rally demanding safe passage back to their villages. They accused insurgent groups of blocking their return and criticised the government for prioritising the Sangai Festival. Over two years after ethnic violence, thousands remain stranded in relief camps.
