Anoushka Shankar expressed that she was “devastated and truly disturbed” after her sitar was damaged during an Air India flight. She shared a video on Instagram, which showed a deep crack at the instrument’s lower rounded end. Shankar mentioned that this was the first time in 15 to 17 years that she had experienced such damage.
