Laxmajipalli village in Karimnagar has banned alcohol sales from Jan 10. Anyone caught selling liquor will be fined ₹10,000, while whistleblowers will receive ₹2,000 as an incentive. Sarpanch Renuka stated the decision considered advice from village unity and caste associations, aiming to curb disputes and foster harmony among residents.
