Indian stock markets ended the week’s first trading session in the negative territory. Sensex shed as many as 941.88 points or 1.18% to settle at 78,782.24. Similarly, Nifty ended lower by 309 points or 1.27% to settle at 23,995.35. Broader market also ended in red. Midcap and Smallcap ended lower by 1.31%, and 1.98%, respectively.
