Authorities have said that liquor outlets in Tamil Nadu will remain shut for 3 days during the Assembly polls to ensure smooth polling. Shops will be closed on April 21 and 22, ahead of voting, and on April 23, the polling day. Also, restrictions will be imposed again on May 4 during vote counting, as part of steps to maintain law and order.
