BCCI Appoints Devajit Saikia As Acting Secretary

Devajit Saikia has been appointed as the acting secretary of BCCI by Board President Roger Binny, replacing Jay Shah. Saikia, a former first-class cricketer from Assam and the current BCCI joint secretary, will hold the position until a permanent secretary is appointed, likely by September 2025. Binny used his constitutional powers to delegate the role to Saikia in a temporary arrangement.
