The Centre has requested a report from the West Bengal govt regarding the alleged chanting of Kashmir Mange Azadi slogans during a protest rally against the rape and murder of a trainee doctor. The Intelligence Bureau has identified 15 to 20 participants of the rally who allegedly chanted the controversial slogans. The TMC condemned the slogans, affirming Kashmir’s status as part of India.
