Center sent notices to Wikipedia with reference to complaints of bias and inaccuracies. Information and Broadcasting Ministry pointed to a select group with editorial control and asked Wikipedia why it shouldn’t be treated as a ‘publisher’ instead of an ‘intermediary’. This comes amid a legal battle between Wikipedia and ANI about user information who referred ANI as “propaganda tool”.
