Kashmir Night Temperatures Plunge Below Freezing, Further Drop Expected

Night temperature in Kashmir dropped sharply on Wednesday, with most areas recording temperatures below freezing, according to MeT officials. A further decline is expected due to dry weather conditions. Barring Kokernag, all weather stations in the valley reported sub-zero temperatures. Srinagar recorded a low of minus 2°C, down from minus 1.8°C the previous night, the officials added.
