Low Voter Turnout Of 18.1% Recorded In Maharashtra Polls

As of 11 am, an 18.1% voter turnout has been recorded in the Maharashtra assembly polls. Polling is proceeding peacefully across the state and will continue until 6 pm. A total of 8.96 crore voters are expected to cast their votes in this single-phase election. Notably, this is the first election since the split between Shiv Sena and the NCP. Several celebrities have also cast their votes.
