Suzuki Unveils EVitara, First Electric SUV, Production Set For 2025

Suzuki Motor Corporation has unveiled the e Vitara, its first battery electric vehicle (BEV), in Milan, Italy. The electric SUV will be produced at Maruti Suzuki’s Gujarat plant, with manufacturing starting in spring 2025 and global sales expected by summer 2025. While it will drive Maruti’s EV plans in India, half of the units will be exported to Europe and Japan.
