Sanjay Murthy Takes Oath As India’s New Comptroller & Auditor General

Senior IAS officer Sanjay Murthy was sworn in as the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan this morning. President Droupadi Murmu recently confirmed his appointment through an official order. A 1989-batch IAS officer from Himachal cadre, Sanjay hails from Amalapuram in AP. Vice President Dhankhar and other dignitaries attended this ceremony.
