Cabinet Approves MSP Hike For Rabi Crops, Offering Pre-Diwali Relief To Farmers

In a major support for farmers ahead of the Diwali festival, the Central Government approved a rise in the Minimum Support Price (MSP) for essential rabi crops. Announced by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on Wednesday, the MSP for wheat increased by ₹150 to ₹2,425, mustard by ₹300 to ₹5,950, and gram by ₹210 to ₹5,650 per quintal, aiming to boost agricultural income.
