Pilot Refuses To Fly Citing Completion Of Duty Hours, Leaves Passengers Stranded

Chaos erupted at Jaipur airport after the pilot of an Air India flight (AI-2022) refused to fly the plane citing completion of duty hours. The flight was diverted to Jaipur due to poor visibility in Delhi. It was carrying over 180 passengers from Paris to Delhi. After completing his duty hours, the pilot refused to continue the journey to Delhi. This left passengers stranded for nearly 9 hours.
