Maharashtra Cracks Down On Gutkha Near Schools

Maharashtra government will take strict action against the sale of gutkha, pan masala, and drugs near schools and colleges. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said cases are being registered, and MCOCA will be amended to target habitual offenders. Existing laws are weak, so stricter provisions are planned to curb illegal trade and protect students.
