India’s Domestic Airline Fleet To Grow To 1,400 Aircraft In 5 Years

Civil Aviation Secretary Vumlunmang Vualnam announced on Thursday that the number of aircraft with domestic airlines in India will rise to 1,400 within the next five years. Currently, the fleet stands at around 800 planes, with major carriers IndiGo and Air India placing substantial aircraft orders, reflecting the sector’s growth potential.
