The Central Govt has announced plans to double train capacities over the next 5 years, benefiting railway passengers nationwide. 48 cities, including Hyderabad, Vizag, Vijayawada, and Tirupati, have been selected for infrastructure upgrades. By 2030, new platforms and terminals will be constructed to ease congestion and expand rail facilities.
