Orange Alert Issued For Delhi, Noida, Gurugram Amid Continued Rainfall

The IMD issued an orange alert for Delhi, Noida, and Gurugram, and a yellow alert for Ghaziabad due to ongoing rain, thunderstorms, and gusty winds. Delhi saw excess August rainfall at 400.1mm—72% above average. Northern states including Uttarakhand, Punjab, and Himachal Pradesh remain under red/orange alerts as heavy rainfall continues till September 5.
