Mirwaiz Umar Farooq removed the ‘Chairman, All Parties Hurriyat Conference’ designation from his verified X profile, leaving only his name and location. The chief cleric, who has over two lakh followers, did not comment. The APHC, formed in 1993, has weakened over the years due to infighting and Centre-led crackdowns after Article 370’s abrogation in 2019.
