55th GST Council Meeting In Jaisalmer: Tax Cuts On Insurance

The 55th GST Council meeting will be held today in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. There is a possibility of a reduction in taxes on medical and life insurance. Reports suggest that changes in GST rates for about 148 items may be discussed. Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has already arrived in Jaisalmer to attend the meeting.
