Bombay High Court Rules Muslims Can Register Multiple Marriages

Bombay High Court has ruled that a Muslim man can register multiple marriages under personal laws, addressing a case where a man sought to register his third marriage. On October 15, Justices B P Colabawalla and Somasekhar Sundaresan directed the Thane Municipal Corporation to reconsider the application, which had been previously rejected based on state marriage regulations.
