IMD Issues Cyclone Warning, Predicts Heavy Rains In AP

The Indian Meteorological Department has stated that the severe depression in the Bay of Bengal will intensify into a cyclone by today. Heavy rains are expected in the state over the next five days, and the IMD has advised fishermen to refrain from going to sea due to rough conditions. Warnings have been issued for Visakhapatnam, Gangavaram, Kakinada, Machilipatnam, and Krishnapatnam ports.
