China Deploys Largest Navy Fleet In Decades, Raising Taiwan Tensions

China is deploying its largest navy fleet in regional waters in nearly 30 years, heightening the threat to Taiwan, according to Taiwan’s defense ministry. The current naval presence, spanning from the southern Japanese islands to the South China Sea, is the largest since China’s 1996 war games around Taiwan.
