Congress Urges Centre For Funds To Aid Cyclone Fengal Victims

Congress on Tuesday urged the Centre to allocate sufficient funds for the rehabilitation of those affected by Cyclone Fengal in Tamil Nadu. The cyclone, which started as a low-pressure area on November 23, caused widespread devastation across 14 districts, affecting 1.5 crore people. It made landfall on December 1, bringing 90 km/h winds and damaging infrastructure in several areas.
