YouTube To Stream Oscars Free From 2029

The Oscars will move from ABC to YouTube in 2029. Until 2028, including the 100th ceremony, ABC will still air the show. From 2029 to 2033, YouTube will stream the Oscars free worldwide, with multiple languages, captions, red-carpet events, nominations and Governors Awards included. The first YouTube-streamed ceremony will follow decades of TV history globally.
