Devanura Mahadeva To Receive 2024 Vaikom Award For Social Justice

Tamil Nadu govt has announced that the 2024 Vaikom Award for Social Justice will be presented to Kannada writer and social activist Devanura Mahadeva. Mahadeva has been a prominent figure in the fight against caste discrimination and oppression. He will receive Rs 5 lakh, a certificate of appreciation, and a medal during the inauguration of the Vaikom Periyar Memorial in Kerala on December 12.
