Bangladesh Protesters Seize Presidential Palace

Protesters in Bangladesh surrounded the Banga Bhaban presidential palace, demanding President Mohammed Shahabuddin’s resignation. The Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, which seeks to remove PM Sheikh Hasina, announced a 5-point demand at a Dhaka rally earlier. The protesters marched to Banga Bhaban but were blocked by army barricades.
