Bangladesh Court Issues Arrest Warrant For Ex-PM Sheikh Hasina

A Bangladeshi court on Thursday issued an arrest warrant for exiled ex-PM Sheikh Hasina, who fled to India in Aug after being ousted by a student-led revolution. Chief prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam stated that Hasina must appear in court on Nov 18. Her 15-year tenure was marked by serious human rights violations, including mass detentions and extrajudicial killings of political opponents.
