Pro-Kannada activists protested against the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) on Monday. This comes as BMRCL wants to recruit 50 train operators but wants candidates currently serving as train operators on a contract basis in Hyderabad and Chennai Metro systems. This drew strong criticism from various pro-Kannada organizations and political groups.
