Karnataka has banned 15 medicines and cosmetics, including Pomol-650 paracetamol from Mysuru, after May 2025 tests found them unsafe. The list covers syrups, tablets, injectables, and even a poultry vaccine component. Authorities have instructed immediate suspension of use and distribution to protect public health pending further orders from the state.
