Telangana Declares Telugu Mandatory Amid TN-Centre Hindi Clash

The Telangana government has mandated Telugu in all schools, including CBSE, ensuring students learn their mother tongue or the regional language. From 2025, Class IX and X will have a simplified Telugu syllabus. The move comes amid Tamil Nadu’s row with the Centre over the three-language policy in the National Education Policy.
