Uttar Pradesh Police today arrested Tauqeer Raza Khan, who was a local cleric and head of the Ittehad-e-Millat Council. Earlier, he gave a call for support of the ‘I Love Muhammad’ campaign that triggered violent clashes between demonstrators and police in Bareilly after Friday prayers. Officials arrested 8 people, including Raza, and sent them to jail.
