Indian Coast Guard Braces For Cyclonic Storm In Bay Of Bengal

Indian Coast Guard (ICG) intensified its preparations as a deep depression over the Southwest Bay of Bengal is expected to develop into a cyclonic storm. This poses a significant weather threat to the Tamil Nadu coast. IMD reported that the system is currently located about 240 km southeast of Trincomalee, 640 km south-southeast of Puducherry, and 720 km south-southeast of Chennai.
