UP To Appoint Street Vendors As ‘Brand Ambassadors’

Uttar Pradesh government has announced plans to appoint street vendors as “brand ambassadors” under the PM Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) scheme. The initiative aims to empower street vendors economically while recognizing their important role in society. The government will soon begin identifying vendors in all districts and major cities across the state.
